Several years ago my family put together a competition. One of the challenges was eating a mealworm.

I wasn’t bothered by that; I used to buy mealworms to feed to my hedgehogs, so I was familiar with them.

Well, it turned out that my cousin bought waxworm s instead. Entirely different texture, and I’m very sensitive to texture in food.

Somewhere I think my family still has a video of me trying to choke down that waxworm. I was quite unhappy with my cousin.
